Nicholas John Bosa is an American football defensive end for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Ohio State and was selected second overall by the 49ers in the 2019 NFL Draft. Bosa was named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year by having nine sacks in the regular season and helping his team reach Super Bowl LIV. He is the son of former NFL defensive end John Bosa and younger brother of Joey Bosa, currently a linebacker for the Los Angeles Chargers. He’s been named to two Pro Bowls, one in his amazing 2019 campaign and the second coming in 2021.

The contract which was months in the making has finally reached an agreement between both parties and Bosa will now earn an average annual salary of $34,000,000. In addition to this, he has been given a $50,000,000 signing bonus and is guaranteed $122,500,000.


In the 2023-24 NFL season, Bosa earned a base salary of $1,010,000, while his base salary for the upcoming 2024-25 season will be $1,125,000. He is also the first defender to have more than $100 million in guaranteed money.
