At the 2024 Libema Open final, De Minaur defeated Sebastian Korda to win his ninth ATP title. With the win, he became the first Australian to win the championship match since 2001. De Minaur's significant achievement this season was qualifying for the 2024 Nitto ATP Finals, making him the first Australian man to do so in singles since Lleyton Hewitt in 2004.

His career-best performance is seen in 2022 when he earned a total of 47 victories in an entire year. He also helped his team win the 2022 Laver Cup by defeating Andy Murray.
