Iga Swiatek's parents are Tomasz Swiatek and Dorota Swiatek. Iga Swiatek was born on May 31, 2001, to parents Tomasz Swiatek and Dorota Swiatek in Warsaw, Poland. Her father, Tomasz, was an Olympian and represented Poland in the men’s quadruple sculls in the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Her mother, Dorota, is a highly educated individual and has specialized in medicine as an Orthodontist.

Swiatek's parents were present at Court Phillipe Chatrier in Paris at the 2022 French Open to witness their daughter capture the second Grand Slam title of her career. She defeated American teenage sensation Coco Gauff in straight sets in the final. They have been seen at several other matches as well, to catch their daughter in action. Iga Swiatek's father, Tomasz, was present during her recent WTA Finals 2023 tournament victory in Cancun.

Additionally, Swiatek also has an elder sister whose name is Agata Swiatek. Agata was initially a swimmer, before making a switch to tennis. She eventually chose to pursue dentistry at the Medical University of Lublin.

Tomasz Swiatek is Iga Swiatek’s father. He was born on July 26, 1964, and is a former Polish rower. Tomasz represented Poland at the 1988 Seoul Olympics in the Men’s Quadruple Sculls event and secured a seventh-place finish. He also won the gold medal at the 1987 Universiade event and was associated with the Polish sports club AZS Warsaw.

The club was a former multi-section University sports club based in Warsaw, Poland. The 58-year-old and his daughter Iga were both awarded Polish honors in a joint ceremony after Iga won her first Grand Slam title at the 2020 French Open. He was conferred with an Officer’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Resituta for his achievements in sports and for promoting Poland in the international arena.

Dorota Swiatek is Iga Swiatek’s mother. She completed her education in medicine and specialized in Dentistry as an Orthodontist. Dorota has always maintained a low-key profile, and spends most of her time treating patients in a private hospital. She has been out of the spotlight during Iga’s career but has played a pivotal role in her daughter's life - personal and professional.

Dorota emphasized the importance of education to her children and made sure they completed their graduation. Her older daughter Agatha is following a similar path, and she is studying medicine to become a full-time dentist.
