Pascal Siakam is a Cameroonian power forward for the Indiana Pacers in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Born in Douala, Cameroon on April 2, 1994, Siakam moved to the United States at the age of 18. After going to God's Academy, he played college basketball for New Mexico State University. He won the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Freshman of the Year award in 2015 and WAC Player of the Year honor in 2016 while representing the New Mexico State Aggies.
Siakam was selected as the 27th overall pick by the Toronto Raptors in the 2016 NBA draft. In 2017, he became an NBA G-League champion with the Raptors 905 and was named the G-League Finals Most Valuable Player (MVP). After returning in 2018, he won the NBA championship with the Raptors in 2019. The three-time NBA All-Star was acquired by the Indiana Pacers on January 17, 2024.
