Anthony Edwards is an American professional basketball shooting guard. "Ant-Man" attended Therrell High School and later the Holy Spirit High School. Rated a five-star recruit out of high school, Edwards began his college career with the Georgia Bulldogs (2019-20). At the University of Georgia, he won the SEC Rookie of the Year award and was named to the second team All-SEC in 2020.

The Minnesota Timberwolves drafted him as the first overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. As of May 2025, he has been selected for the NBA All-Star Game thrice and the NBA All-Rookie First Team once (2021). Edwards was also named in the All-NBA Second Team in 2024 and won a gold medal for Team USA in the 2024 Paris Olympics, per the NBA's official website.
