Kevin Durant

Born on September 29, 1988, in Washington D.C, Kevin Durant is an American professional basketball player who plays as a power forward/ small forward for the Phoenix Suns. The 2024/25 will be his 17th NBA season. KD went to the University of Texas for college basketball before being selected as the second overall pick by the Seattle SuperSonics (now the Oklahoma City Thunder) in the 2007 NBA Draft.

Throughout his 17-year NBA career, Durant has established himself as one of the most prolific scorers in the league. It becomes difficult to defend against Kevin Durant due to his combination of being an almost 7-foot-tall player and having a highly efficient jump shot with a high release point. KD is well known for his scoring ability, especially from the mid-range zone. He is a 2-time NBA champion, 14-time NBA All-Star, and 2-time NBA finals MVP in 2017 and 2018. Besides his NBA success, KD has also represented the United States in international basketball competitions, winning gold medals at the 2012, 2016, and 2024 Summer Olympics.
