Born on January 31, 1997, in Newark, Delaware, DiVincenzo played basketball at the Salesianum School, where he excelled and led his team to consecutive state championships. After high school. he committed to playing college basketball at Villanova University. In the 2017–18 season, DiVincenzo became the third player in Villanova Wildcats history to earn NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player honors.
