Ahmed Hassanein is a defensive end who played for Boise State University between 2021 and 2024. Born in the US, he moved to Cairo, Egypt, at the age of six to live with his father. Hassanein began his college career with the Boise State Broncos in 2021. Over four seasons, he played in 40 games and recorded 119 tackles (69 solo), 35 tackles for loss, 24 sacks, and three forced fumbles. In 2023, Hassanein had a breakout season, achieving 12.5 sacks, which ranked sixth in Boise State's single-season records. That year, he earned First-Team All-Mountain West honors.
