The American college football player Branson Taylor is an offensive lineman who played for the University of Pittsburgh between 2020 and 2024. At the 2025 NFL Combine, he ranked 22nd overall among offensive tackles with a Next Gen Stats score of 67. Before playing for the Panthers, the Lorain, Ohio native attended Elyria Catholic High School. where he played football under coach Brian Fox. During his high school career, 247Sports ranked him as the No. 22 offensive tackle in the nation and Ohio’s No. 6 overall prospect.

Branson Taylor signed with the Pittsburgh Panthers in 2020 and played for five seasons. He appeared in 45 games, starting 21. After redshirting as a freshman in 2020, he mostly saw action as a reserve offensive tackle while being on the PAT/field goal unit in 2021. In 2022, he started four games at left tackle. By 2023, he started in all 11 games, shifting from right to left tackle after Matt Goncalves' injury. In 2024, he was named team captain and started six games before a season-ending knee injury against California.

Branson Taylor is the son of Heather Roule and the late Brian Taylor. According to his mother's interview with the Panthers' official YouTube channel, Branson's father passed away when he was four years old.
