Expert Summary

Most (including us) have the Carolina Panthers heading straight for the lottery in the 2025 NFL Draft.

That's not a shot at Bryce Young or rookie head coach Dave Canales. But the Panthers just do not appear to have enough to compete, even in the NFC South. The Falcons brought Kirk Cousins to town, bolstering their chances of winning the division, while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have done well to stay afloat. The Panthers traded for Diontae Johnson to pair with Adam Thielen, while rookie Xavier Legette and sophomore Jonathan Mingo will also be legitimate options on offense.

All things considered, there's not much to look forward to for Panthers fans this year. Our playoff chances algorithm hands the Panthers with a 1% chance of making the playoffs.
