Expert Summary
The Tennessee Titans got right down to business in free agency, didn't they?
Losing Derrick Henry was just about a given, though they moved quickly to replace the iconic bell cow running back with Tony Pollard. Mike Vrabel's exit was somewhat of a surprise but Brian Callahan certainly appears to be taking the Titans in a different direction. Having Calvin Ridley and DeAndre Hopkins on offense will surely help Will Levis, and Callahan did receive a lot of praise for engineering a high-octane Bengals offense. Their big free-agency splash was L'Jarius Sneed, which was seen as something of a coup.
The Titans came out of free agency looking better on paper. A somewhat disappointing draft notwithstanding, the Titans should be a fun team to watch. When it comes to the playoffs, though, they could find it difficult to squeeze in given how much the Texans and Jaguars have improved.
Our algorithm puts the Titans' playoff chances at 3% entering Week 1.
