The Baltimore Ravens came agonizingly close to playing in the Super Bowl last season, falling to the eventual Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game. Lamar Jackson took home another MVP, but it clearly wasn't enough. So the Ravens decided it was time to shake things up.
In came Derrick Henry, who landed in Baltimore in free agency to supercharge the offense. Lamar Jackson certainly grew as a passer last year with a WR corps featuring Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman. Baltimore lost some major contributors in the secondary in Geno Stone and Ronald Darby while Patrick Queen will also be a huge miss.
In any case, our playoff chances algorithm has the Baltimore Ravens with an 83% chance of making the playoffs outright. The AFC North is there for the taking despite a healthy Joe Burrow set to return to challenge Baltimore in 2024.
