Tennessee Titans Roster

Tennessee Titans/ Source: Getty Images

The Tennessee Titans are a professional American football team based in Nashville, Tennessee, competing in the AFC South division in the NFL. The team is entering a new era under Brian Callahan, along with promising second-year quarterback, Will Levis. After spending six seasons under Mike Vrabel, the Titans decided it was time to go from a defense-first, run-heavy identity to a pass-reliant offensive scheme under former Bengals OC, Brian Callahan. This seismic shift in the team's playstyle has fans in Nashville on the edge of their seats.

2024 will also serve as a major year for Will Levis, as he looks forward to prove himself in a division that is suddenly stacked at the quarterback position with former No.1 overall pick Trevor Lawrence, 2023 ROTY C.J. Stroud and a guy with untapped potential in Anthony Richardson. Tyjae Spears' emergence in his rookie season last year and Tony Pollard’s signing in the offseason would create a formidable running back room, while Chigoziem Okonkwo and Josh Whyle would create a young nucleus core at the tight end position. The strength of this team lies in the hands of the wide receivers. After going on a historic free agency frenzy, Levis now has DeAndre Hopkins, Calvin Ridley, Tyler Boyd and Treylon Burks to rely on, while offensive linemen like Lloyd Cushenberry, Peter Skoronski and JC Latham would make sure that Levis remains upright.

The defense which was ranked in the lower half (18th) in 2023 (via FOX Sports) has also seen some major changes take place. Jeffery Simmons, rookie T’Vondre Sweat and new signee Sebastian Joseph-Day would be a scary group to go against any interior offensive line. With Autry going to divisional rival Texans, Harold Landry proves to be the elite defensive edge on the team, while Rashad Weaver and Arden Key round out the top 3. Tennessee bought another big name in Kenneth Murray Jr., and traded for Ernest Jones to offset the loss of Al-Shaair at the off-ball linebacker spot. The safety trio of Amani Hooker, Jamal Adams and Elijah Molden complete the defensive backs group. Ryan Stonehouse, Nick Folk, and Morgan Cox remain constant in the specialist team.

Titans would hope that their debut head coach, Brian Callahan, would be able to weave his magic with Will Levis as he did with Burrow and Browning at Cincinnati. He will be aided by the offensive coordinator, Nick Holz, and defensive coordinator, Dennard Wilson.
