Jacksonville Jaguars Roster

The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional American football team based in Jacksonville, Florida, competing in the NFL in its AFC South division. Since the arrival of Doug Pederson in Sunshine State in 2022, Jacksonville has become a winning franchise. However, after a stellar season in 2022, where T-Law and company. went on to reach the divisional round, they couldn’t replicate the same success in 2023. Their fall in the AFC was reminiscent of the Eagles one from NFC. In a division, which now represents the stacked Houston team led by C.J. Stroud along with up-and-coming teams in Indy and Tennessee, Lawrence can’t afford to have another choke job in 2024.

After signing a massive 5-year contract in the offseason, all the pressure is on Trevor Lawrence to deliver, and anything less than a postseason berth would be considered a disappointment. They also upgraded their QB room by trading for Mac Jones in the offseason. Lawrence’s former college teammate and 1000 yards rusher in the last two seasons in Travis Etienne will be fed the rock time and again to keep the opposing defenses honest. Losing 1000-yard receiver Ridley to Nashville in free agency was a major setback for the team, but the Jags more than made up for it by signing Gabe Davis and selecting rookie Brian Thomas Jr in the 1st round. Kirk would once again be lined up in the slot for the majority of the reps along with tight end Evan Engram. Mitch Morse's arrival from Buffalo has made the offensive line unit consisting of Scherff, Cleveland, Robinson and Harrison one of the better groups on the team. The team would be hoping that, unlike last year, this group does not get hit by an injury bug again.

By getting Armstead into the fold Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker form a scary trio of big men at the line of scrimmage. Devin Lloyd, Foyesade Oluokun and Chad Muma are pretty much set as the top 3 linebackers on the team. Under new defensive coordinator Ryan Neilsen, the secondary did see some changes take place with the arrival of Darby and Savage from Baltimore and Green Bay respectively. The rest of the cast from last year with the newly extended Tyson Campbell, Andre Cisco and Darren Jones are all back. Rookie Cam Little will be the new kicker on the team.

Entering 3rd season into his coaching stint at Jacksonville, Doug Pederson will be under pressure to deliver results in what has now become a competitive AFC South division. One major change on the coaching staff came on the defensive side of the ball, where the Jaguars hired Ryan Nielsen as their new defensive coordinator after his brief stint as DC with the Falcons last year.
