Cooper Kupp is an American football wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams as of the 2024 NFL season. The Los Angeles Rams selected him with the 69th overall pick in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Coming from a family of NFL footballers, Kupp's rookie season was as advertised as he went on to accumulate 869 receiving yards. However, his breakout year came in 2019, when he first time broke the 1,000-yard mark. But 2021 was when he established himself as one of the best wideouts in the league by receiving the honor of NFL Offensive Player of the Year and the Super Bowl MVP. He led the league in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns. He also broke the NFL record for the most yards from scrimmage by a wide receiver in a single season with 1,965 yards and most receptions in a single postseason with 33 that year.

As a college athlete, Kupp played college football at Eastern Washington University, where he played for the Eastern Washington Eagles from 2012 to 2016. According to the official university website, he set FCS records with 6,464 yards, 428 receptions, 73 touchdown catches, an average of 124.3 yards per game, and 1.40 touchdowns per game. He earned the Walter Payton Award in 2015, and the Jerry Rice Award in 2013, was named Big Sky Offensive Player of the Year twice (2015, 2016), and was a First-team FCS All-American for four consecutive years (2013–2016). Before committing to Eastern Washington University, he played high school football at Davis High School in Yakima.
