Odell Beckham Jr. is an American football wide receiver who is more commonly known by his initials as OBJ. OBJ was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1992 and played his college football at Louisiana State University (LSU). With the 12th overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft, Odell Beckham Jr. was selected by the New York Giants. He started off his rookie season in the NFL with a bang. Along the way he set numerous receiving records both for the Giants as well as the league. One of his most famous moments came against the Dallas Cowboys when he made a sensational one handed catch for a touchdown while being fouled. That catch was described by many personalities as the best catch they had ever seen. By the end of the season, he was named as the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. OBJ continued to excel with the Giants and played with them for 5 years till the 2019 season when he was traded to the Cleveland Browns.

After a good 2019 season with the Cleveland Browns, OBJ suffered few injuries from 2020 and his play has become somewhat inconsistent since then. In the 2021 season, after 6 games, Odell was traded to the Los Angeles Rams and he was a big part in helping the team win the Super Bowl that year. At just 30 years of age, OBJ still has some good football left in him but with injuries catching up with him, teams are reluctant to offer him a contract for multiple years. Now teaming up with Lamar Jackson at Baltimore could make this duo very threatening provided they manage to stay healthy throughout the season.

Odell Beckham Jr.’s House in New York

After the Giants drafted OBJ in 2014, the Louisiana native made a home for himself in New York by purchasing a three-story, 3,529 square foot house in Hudson County with a view of Manhattan. This house had fully-opening windows that would enable the rooms to become indoor-outdoor on all three floors providing some gorgeous views of the city. The top floor consisted entirely of the master suite with a walk-in steam. However, after OBJ was traded to the Browns, it seems that he sold this house and bought a new one in Cleveland.

OBJ’s house in Cleveland was much more fancier given that by 2019 he was making a significant amount of money post his rookie contract. He acquired the new property in Cleveland for a price of $1.6 million and was spread over 13,800-square-foot of land. His Cleveland home included 4 bedrooms and a staggering 7 bathrooms. It also featured a three-car garage, and a huge swimming pool with a slide that could be found in water parks. The kitchen of this home had a modern feel to it with high-end stainless appliances and a big island to eat and a dining area just next to it.

An intriguing feature of that house was an extensive department store-like closet or a room if you like, housing racks and racks of all his clothes and shoes. This lavish room also had sitting areas where OBJ probably sat and pondered over his outfits. Other features of the house include a movie theater which also gets converted into a golf simulator, a game room with a bar, personalized gym, couple of offices and more.

Sometime near the end of 2022, OBJ listed his Cleveland home for sale after he was traded to the Rams late in 2021. As per various sources, it is reported that the house was sold for $3.3 million.
