Ray Davis is an American football running back for the Buffalo Bills as of the 2024 NFL season. The Buffalo Bills selected him as the 128th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. He played for the Kentucky Wildcats in 2023. He chose to play for the Wildcats in his final year of eligibility transferring from Commodores. Davis started his college career at Temple Owls in 2019 where he played 16 games rushing for 1244 yards and scoring 11 total touchdowns. He was also named first-team Freshman All-American by PFF. David had five 100-yard games during his time at Vanderbilt. Moreover, he earned fourth-team All-Southeastern Conference honors.
After shifting to Kentucky in 2023, he ran for 112 yards and scored two touchdowns on his debut. He has started all five games he has been a part of scoring 17 touchdowns till now. Growing up in San Francisco he spent a hard time around foster care. He attended the Trinity-Pawling School in New York after spending a year at Blair Academy. Davis, in his one year, put an impressive number at Blair, running for 1,698 yards and scoring 35 touchdowns in just eight games. At the end of his high school career, he recorded 80 tackles and six interceptions on defense in addition to 4,815 yards and 48 touchdowns scored on offense.
