Born on October 20, 1997, in Moscow, Russia, Andrey Rublev is a Russian professional tennis player, who achieved his career-high ranking of No. 5 on November 2021. Rublev has won 16 singles titles in his career so far, including a Masters 1000 title at the 2023 Monte-Carlo Open, and the 2024 Madrid Open. In doubles, he has four titles to date, including the Masters 1000 title at the 2023 Madrid Open with Karen Khachanov. He also won an Olympic gold medal in the mixed doubles at the 2020 Summer Olympics.


Andrey Rublev made his ATP tour debut in 2015 and won his first ATP singles title in 2017 at the Umag Open. He has reached the quarterfinals of all four Grand Slams. In his career so far, he reached the quarterfinals of all four Grand Slams nine times but was never able to reach the semifinal yet. He won the 2024 Madrid Masters after a poor run of form, defeating Felix Auger-Aliassime 4-6 7-5 7-5 in the final.
