Andrey Rublev is a well-known professional tennis player, who is ranked No. 6 in the world, as of June 2024. Rublev, who won his first ATP singles title in 2017, at the Umag Open, has won 16 titles on the ATP Tour. In his junior career, Rublev won one of the most prestigious junior competitions, the Orange Bowl in 2012, he also won the French Open junior singles title in 2014. He also competed at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics and played in all three events as the No. 1 seed. The Russian secured a bronze medal in the singles event and a silver medal in the boys doubles event. He finished his junior career in 2015 by winning the inaugural ITF Junior Masters in Chengdu, China.
