Born on August 10, 1999, in London, Ontario, Nick started his NHL journey with the Vegas Golden Knights in the first round, 18th overall in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. When Nick returned to the Montreal Canadiens, he played a significant role during the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs. He also performed well during the 2020-21 season; he played 56 games and finished the season with 15 goals and 41 points. In September 20222, Nick became the captain of the Montreal Canadiens at the age of 23.
