Brad Marchand is a left winger for the Florida Panthers in the National Hockey League (NHL), as of May 2025. He was selected 71st overall by the Boston Bruins in the third round of the 2006 NHL entry draft. Marchand played junior hockey for the Moncton Wildcats, Val-d'Or Foreurs, and Halifax Mooseheads between 2004 and 2008 before joining the Bruins' system. After a season with the Providence Bruins in the American Hockey League (AHL), he made his NHL debut on October 21, 2009.

Marchand played a key role in the Bruins' Stanley Cup Finals appearances in 2013 and 2019. In the 2018-19 season, he recorded 100 points but the Bruins lost in Game 7 of the Finals. He is the most suspended player in NHL history in terms of individual suspensions. In March 2025, he joined the Florida Panthers after playing for years for the Boston Bruins.
