Vladimir Tarasenko is a Russian professional ice hockey right winger playing for the Detroit Red Wings in the National Hockey League (NHL), as of 2024. Before his NHL career, he played with the Sibir Novosibirsk organization, making his debut with the senior team in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) during the 2008–09 season. After three seasons with Novosibirsk, he was traded to SKA Saint Petersburg in 2012.

Tarasenko was selected in the first round, 16th overall, in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the St. Louis Blues. He joined the Blues for the 2012–13 season, where he spent over a decade. During his time in St. Louis, he participated in three NHL All-Star Games and played a pivotal role in the Blues winning the Stanley Cup in 2019. In February 2023, Tarasenko was traded to the New York Rangers. He joined the Ottawa Senators for the 2023-2024 season before signing a two-year, $9.5 million contract with the Detroit Red Wings.

According to the Miami Herald, Vladimir Tarasenko, the Florida Panthers right wing, invested in two properties in South Florida. He bought a $5 million waterfront house in Fort Lauderdale, which is near the Panthers' training facility at the War Memorial. The spacious, modern home includes five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen, smart tech, a heated saltwater pool, and a private dock.

Additionally, Tarasenko purchased a one-bedroom apartment at the luxurious Mercedes Benz Place in Brickell, Miami, set to be completed in 2027. This high-rise unit could serve as either an investment or a convenient place to stay when he’s in Miami.

The house, spanning over 9,000 square feet and situated on a spacious 3.2-acre lot, features five bedrooms, five and a half baths, a chef's kitchen, marble flooring, Sub-Zero/Wolf appliances, a heated saltwater pool, a hot tub, a heated four-car garage, a theater room, and a gym. One of the standout features is a mini hockey rink in the basement, complete with rink boards and plexiglass. The property was initially on the market in 2020, listed at $1,928,300, indicating a significant price increase.
