Brad Marchand is a left winger for the Florida Panthers in the National Hockey League (NHL), as of May 2025. The Canadian was drafted as the 71st overall pick by the Boston Bruins in the 2006 NHL draft. Marchand, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, played junior hockey for Canadian teams Moncton Wildcats, Val-d'Or Foreurs, and Halifax Mooseheads before joining the Bruins in 2009.

Marchand, who is known for being the most suspended player in NHL history due to repeated on-ice incidents, recorded 100 points in the 2018-19 season. He helped the Boston Bruins win the Stanley Cup in 2011. He also celebrated a 1000-game milestone with the Bruins in 2024. In March 2025, Marchand was traded to the Florida Panthers after playing for 16 years with the Boston Bruins.
