Continuing his exceptional performance in the 2016–17 season, he not only recorded 100 points but also became the youngest player to win the Art Ross Trophy for leading the NHL in scoring. McDavid's outstanding performance earned him the Hart Memorial Trophy, the Ted Lindsay Award, and a spot on the NHL First All-Star Team that same season. McDavid also made his seventh consecutive All-Star appearance in 2024.
