Brad Marchand is a Canadian ice hockey left winger, playing for the Florida Panthers as of 2025. He was drafted 71st overall by the Bruins in the 2006 NHL Draft. Marchand played junior hockey for the Moncton Wildcats, Val-d'Or Foreurs, and Halifax Mooseheads before joining the Bruins in 2009. Marchand helped the Bruins win the Stanley Cup in 2011 and reach the Finals in 2013 and 2019.

He recorded 100 points in the 2018–19 season. Despite his high performance, Marchand is also known for being the most suspended player in NHL history due to repeated on-ice incidents. In addition to a Stanley Cup win in 2011, Marchand also celebrated a 1,000-game milestone with the Bruins in 2024. In March 2025, Marchand was traded to the Florida Panthers after playing for 16 years with the Boston Bruins.
