Brad Marchand aka Bradley Kevin Marchand is a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger currently serving as the captain for the Boston Bruins in the NHL. He was selected as the third-round, 71st overall pick in the 2006 NHL Entry draft. Marchand started his NHL journey with the Bruins' AHL affiliate team, Providence Bruins in the 2008-2009 season. After playing one season in the AHL, he made his NHL debut on October 21, 2009 and soon became an important player there. Marchand achieved the Seventh Player Award and also claimed his first Stanley Cup with the Bruins in 2011. He contributed 11 goals during the 2011 playoffs. In the following years, Marchand won multiple awards like the Elizabeth C. Dufresne Trophy, and John P. Bucyk Award for his stand-out performances.
