Mitchell Aaron Starc is a professional cricket bowler who represents the Australian cricket team across all international formats. He was born in Baulkham Hills, New South Wales, Australia on January 30, 1990. At the age of 9, he used to do wicketkeeping for the Northern District. He also bowled and kept wickets in the same innings in junior cricket for Berala Sports Cricket Club. He made his First-Class debut with New South Wales on March 05, 2009, against Western Australia. Finally, he made his international debut against India in an ODI game on October 20, 2010.
Mitchell Starc made his debut in the longest format of the game against New Zealand on December 01, 2011. He became an all-format player after his T20I debut against Pakistan on September 07, 2012. In the 2015 ODI World Cup, he became the Player of the Tournament after picking up 22 wickets in the tournament. He also took 27 wickets in the 2019 ODI World Cup, and 16 wickets in the 2023 ODI World Cup. Mitchell Starc has been a part of the Australian team that won the ICC T20 WC 2021, ODI WC in 2015 and 2023, and the World Test Championship in 2023.
