David Miller

David Andrew Miller is a professional cricketer representing the South African men’s national cricket team across the limited-overs internationals. He is primarily a left-handed batter, scoring crucial boundaries for his team in the middle order.

Miller made his international debut for South Africa against West Indies in May 2010. He made his IPL debut for the Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) against Royal Challengers Bangalore (now Royal Challengers Bengaluru) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). As of December 2024, Miller holds the record for scoring the fastest international T20 century off just 35 balls. In the IPL 2025 edition, Miller will feature for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

The Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) signed David Miller as a replacement for English all-rounder Dmitri Mascarenhas in IPL 2011 for USD 100,000. He was retained over the years and was paid a salary of INR 12.50 crore across five IPL editions. However, KXIP retained him for INR 3 crore in the IPL 2018 mega auction. The Rajasthan Royals (RR) signed him for INR 75 lakhs at the IPL 2020 mini-auction. In the IPL 2022 mega auction, the newly-launched Gujarat Titans (GT) acquired him for INR 3 crore. Miller signed an IPL contract worth INR 11.75 crore with the Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL 2025 mega auction.

David Miller IPL Contract

David Miller received his first IPL contract with the Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) in IPL 2011. After being retained for nine seasons, the Rajasthan Royals signed him in the IPL 2020 mini-auction. He was released and received an IPL contract with the Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2022 mega auction. According to the official website of the Olympics, the Titans have released Miller ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction.
