Virat Kohli is a legendary batter who has accomplished feats and broken records that a cricketer usually dreams of. After shedding the responsibility of captaincy duties, the run machine got his lost touch and mojo of scoring centuries at regular intervals back and subsequently became India’s leading run-scorer in multi-national tournaments like Asia Cup 2022, ICC World T20 2022 and ICC World Cup 2023.

The Delhi batter missed the ongoing test series against England as he was blessed with a baby boy. Kohli and wife Anushka Sharma named their son Akaay.

Where does Virat Kohli live?

Virat Kohli currently resides on the 35th floor of C-Wing in the Omkar 1973 Towers in Mumbai with his actress-turned-producer wife, Anushka Sharma, and daughter Vamika, and newborn baby boy Akaay. The Indian cricket team captain moved to Mumbai in 2016 and bought this swanky home in Worli.

How many houses does Virat Kohli own?

Worli House

Bought in 2016, this stunning house has a mesmerizing view of the Arabian Sea where the cricketer currently lives with his family. When Virat Kohli’s house was under construction, the couple used to live in another Worli-based apartment. Kohli hired an interior designer to make changes to this property and turn it into his dream house.

Gurugram House

Speaking of Virat Kohli’s house, one cannot simply miss the luxurious property the cricketer owns in Gurugram, Haryana. According to reports, the RCB star has spent a whopping 80 crore on the magnificent structure in DLF Phase 1 of the city. The Gurugram house has an extravagant drawing room with wooden furniture as well as a glass wall.

It also has a spacious living room, a quaint bar, and a well-connected pathway that spreads across 500 square yards. The sports personality moved to the residence in 2015 along with his family, before eventually moving to Mumbai to live with his wife Anushka Sharma.

Virat Kohli Other Properties

Apart from his residence in Mumbai, the highest-paid Indian athlete on the Forbes list has two properties to his name.

Gurugram Bungalow

Virat Kohli owns a sprawling bungalow in Gurugram, which is valued at a whopping INR 80 crores. The bungalow is designed in an interlocked geometric way, something that the former Indian skipper is very fond of. The bungalow boasts a spacious drawing room with wooden cupboards, a living room that reaps warmth, and a unique hanging pool along with a lawn filled with lush green.

Alibaug Farmhouse

Not much is known about Virat Kohli’s farmhouse in Alibaug but according to The Quint, the Indian cricket team skipper talked about it during an Instagram live. While chatting with former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen, Kohli mentioned that he and Anushka had driven off to this farmhouse before the lockdown was enforced in 2020.

“We went away to a farm before everything got intense. We’ve been lucky we have been in decent space ourselves so we can walk around, just within the compound. We put all our stuff into a car and got it here. I knew if this goes on for longer, you still need to be able to train. So I got my lifting, Olympic bar, and plates. There is a little garden to run around,” Kohli said regarding the farmhouse.
