One can get a sneak peek of the sprawling mansion where he resides with his wife Anjali Tendulkar, daughter Sara Tendulkar, and son Arjun Tendulkar. A gorgeous property with a distinguished history, the house was bought by Sachin in 2007. The bungalow was formerly known as ‘Dorab Villa’ and was built in 1926, and housed a Parsi family—the Wardens. The spacious villa, which is spread over 6,000 sq ft, took four years to be fully refurbished, and the Tendulkar family formally moved in in 2011.

This is also one of the most pricey locations in Mumbai’s suburbs due to its proximity to the sea. Sachin Tendulkar's house is a three-storeyed mansion and has two basements, which can accommodate 40 to 50 cars at a time. The upper basement has a master surveillance area for security purposes, servant quarters, and a subsidiary kitchen.The residence has a high-walled fence that restricts the view from outside. The ground floor has a temple, where Sachin's mother spends most of her time.

The garden also has a tiny cabana or sitting space, which is frequently used as a backdrop for filming his social messages.

The suite has been meticulously outlined with eco-friendly peculiarities and construction technology. The interiors have an earthly tone that is classy and chic at the same time. The kitchen is minimalistic, with modern features. Intimate and yet roomy, the living room is astounding, notably with its contemporary, artistic interiors and furnishings, which give a detailed elegance to the entire place. It is very well-planned, in terms of usage of space.The aesthetic study is black-themed. With a world map on a wall and transparent glass doors all around, this is a classic meeting room setup, for work commitments post office hours.The residence also has a terrace, which can be viewed from all the front rooms including the living area and the study.

Rumors were floating around back in 2009 when a Bengali topline daily in Kolkata flashed on its front page that Mexican architect, Javier Senosian, was planning an organic weird shell house for Sachin Tendulkar bang in the middle of Mumbai and even displayed photographs as the "first images" of what was purportedly the cricketer's TV room. Following that, the Mexican designer sent India Today an email that stated that the news was indeed a rumor. He confirmed that the house is not in Mumbai, and Sachin Tendulkar is not the owner of the house. The house is in Mexico City and Javier Senosian, a Mexican architect, has outlined and developed it in Mexico.
