Ravindra Jadeja’s IPL Salary

Following his exploits in the ICC U-19 World Cup triumph in 2008, Ravindra Jadeja was picked up by the Rajasthan Royals for INR 12 Lakh in the auction.

He featured for the Royals in a couple of seasons before being banned for the 2010 edition for violating the IPL code of conduct.

However, the spin-bowling all-rounder returned to the fold in 2011, where he was picked up by the Kochi Tuskers Kerala. However, the franchise disbanded after just 1 season, following which, CSK went ahead and belted out INR 9.2 crore to claim Jadeja's services.

Barring the 2015 and 2016 seasons when CSK was banned, Jadeja has been a permanent, and one of the defiant presence at the franchise. During those two seasons, Jadeja represented his home state- Gujarat Lions.

He returned to CSK in 2018 and was retained for a whooping INR 16 Crores ahead of the 2022 auction, besides also getting appointed as skipper for the 15th season. Despite the rumors of him parting ways with the franchise following his disastrous stint as captain, Jadeja was retained by CSK ahead of the 2023 mini-auction.
