Justin Jefferson is an American professional football wide receiver, playing for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League as of 2024. Born on June 16, 1999, he was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the first round with the 22nd overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft. The Louisiana native spent his formative years playing high school football at Destrehan High School in Destrehan, Louisiana. After high school, he was rated as a three-star prospect and committed to playing college football at Louisiana State University. He played at LSU from 2017 to 2019, where he was mentored by coach Ed Orgeron. During his time at LSU, he won the College Football Playoff National Championship against Clemson Tigers with a score of 42-25.

In 2020, he opted out of his senior season to enter the NFL Draft. He was selected as the 22nd overall pick by the Vikings in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft. He has achieved significant recognition in the NFL, earning three Pro Bowl selections, consecutive second-team All-Pro honors, and the title of 2022 NFL Offensive Player of the Year.
