Anže Kopitar is a Slovenian centre and captain of the Los Angeles Kings. Drafted 11th overall in 2005, he became the first Slovene in the NHL when he debuted in 2006. He's played his entire career with the Kings and leads the franchise in assists while ranking second in points and fourth in goals. He was named captain after the 2015–16 season and reached 1,000 career points in 2021.
