Sebastian Aho is a Finnish ice hockey professional who serves as an alternative captain for the Carolina Hurricanes in the National Hockey League as of January 2025. He was selected by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2015 NHL Entry draft and made his debut in the 2016-2017 season. Before the NHL, Aho started his professional hockey career in his hometown Finland with Oulun Kärpät in the Finnish SM-liiga.
