Kuldeep Yadav is a left-arm unorthodox spin bowler who plays for India and represents Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket. On December 14, 1994, he was born in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh. When India played against the West Indies in October 2014, he was picked as a substitute in the squad, and in February 2017, he was added to the Test team for India's match against Bangladesh.

Kuldeep Yadav is known as "Chinaman" because of his unorthodox action and sharp ball-turn. A Chinaman bowler is a left-arm wrist spinner who uses his wrist rather than his fingers to turn the ball in the opposite direction from the normal spin.

In the 2019 IPL season, he made his Delhi debut. In 2021, he signed with the Rajasthan Royals. Yadav was purchased by KKR in the 2018 IPL auction, and the Delhi Capitals purchased him in the 2022 auction.

Kuldeep is the first Indian bowler to record two hat-tricks in an ODI. In Test cricket, he is the third bowler to grab four wickets on his debut. He is also the third bowler for India to take a hat-trick in an ODI after Chetan Sharma and Kapil Dev. The latest hat-trick was registered by Mohammed Shami.
