On February 26, 2023, Porter Jr. recorded a triple-double with 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists against Tulane University, becoming only the second player after Fred VanVleet to record a triple-double in Wichita State history. Overall, Porter appeared in 75 games (59 starts) for Wichita State, averaging 8.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.6 assists in 26.1 minutes. He was named to Third-Team All-AAC honors in 2023. As of November 2024, Craig Porter Jr. is in the second season with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
