Anthony Davis is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association. He plays the power forward and center positions. Davis was selected first overall in the 2012 NBA draft by New Orleans and is a nine-time NBA All-Star.

He has been named to four All-NBA First Teams and four NBA All-Defensive Teams. He also earned a gold medal playing with Team USA at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Anthony Davis won the All-Star MVP in 2017 for his 52-point performance.

Along with LeBron James, Davis won the 2020 NBA championship. He has accumulated eight All-Star selections, getting selected eight years in a row from 2014-2021. Davis has been an All-Defense honoree on four occasions and was named to the NBA's 75th-anniversary team.
