Isaiah Joe is an American basketball player who plays as a back-up shooting guard for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Born on July 2, 1999, Isaiah Joe has been known for his elite shooting ability from beyond the arc since his high school days at Northside High School. Then, during his tenure at the University of Arkansas from 2018 to 2020, Joe broke several records while earning tons of accolades. As a freshman, he made 113 3-pointers, setting a new Arkansas record and tying the SEC freshman record. He earned a spot on the SEC All-Freshman team. He once shot 10/13 from deep and won the SEC Player of the Week award.
After playing two seasons with the Arkansas, Joe was selected with the 49th pick in the second round by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2020 NBA Draft. During his time in Philly, Joe received limited opportunities to showcase his talent, but he quickly found his footing after getting traded to OKC. In the 2023-24 NBA season, Joe was a part of the team which reached the semi-finals of the Western Conference but lost to the Dallas Mavericks. Joe averaged 8.2 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
