How Long was Dak Prescott Under Anaesthesia For His Tattoo?

In early 2023, Prescott added a massive, almost full-leg tattoo to his list. The tattoo sleeve includes references to his family, featuring a moose symbolizing his late brother, Jace, a Pegasus that represents his late mother, Peggy, and a Duffy Duck performing Prescott’s signature touchdown celebration, accompanied by numerous other components depicting other important aspects of his life.

For this tattoo, Prescott was sedated for almost half a day, it took nearly 11 hours for the tattoo to be completed. After the news surfaced about the sedation, Prescott did not receive positive feedback from the public, as he was called out for using anesthesia during the procedure, and some were dumbfounded by the use of sedation. Despite all the mixed reactions he has received, the tattoos on his body hold significant meaning, as they are in the memory of his mother and brother and hold significance in his life, making them special for the Cowboys quarterback.
