Vladimir Tarasenko is a Russian ice hockey right winger for the Detroit Red Wings, as of March 2025. He played three seasons with the Sibir Novosibirsk in the KHL, and then was traded to the SKA Saint Petersburg in 2012. The St. Louis Blues selected him as the 16th overall pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.

Tarasenko played 11 seasons with the Blues, winning the Stanley Cup in 2019. He later played for the Rangers and Senators before joining the Florida Panthers, where he won a second Stanley Cup in 2024. Internationally, Tarasenko played for Russia’s junior team, winning silver at the 2009 U18 Worlds and gold as captain at the 2011 World Juniors. He also played in the 2011 and 2021 World Championships, the 2014 Olympics, the 2015 Worlds (silver), and the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.
