Corey Perry is a Canadian ice hockey right winger playing for the Edmonton Oilers in the National Hockey League (NHL). Born on May 16, 1985, Perry began his NHL career with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim when he was selected 28th overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Notably, he spent 14 seasons with the Ducks, contributing to the team's success in the 2007 Stanley Cup finals. Moreover, Perry also achieved significant success individually for his performances which resulted in him winning the Hart Memorial Trophy and the Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy in 2011 after finishing with an impressive tally of 50 goals across the season. Interestingly, he is the last active player to have been a member of the Ducks while it was still called the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. However, after his association with the Ducks ended he went on to play for the Dallas Stars, Montreal Canadiens, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Chicago Blackhawks before joining the Oilers in January 20224 on a one-year contract.
