Mitchell Marner, born on May 5, 1997, is a Canadian professional ice hockey right winger and alternate captain for the Toronto Maple Leafs in the National Hockey League (NHL). Selected fourth overall by the Maple Leafs in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, Marner has had an impressive career till now. Marner's career with the Maple Leafs began in the 2016–17 season, making a significant impact and earning recognition as the NHL's Rookie of the Month for January 2017.
