Mitchell Ross Marsh is a professional cricketer from Attadale, Western Australia. Born on October 20, 1991, he comes from a family with a strong sporting background. His father, Geoff Marsh, and his older brother, Shaun Marsh, have represented Australia internationally in cricket. His older sister, Melissa Marsh, pursued a career in basketball. As of December 2024, Marsh serves as the captain of the T20 International team and vice-captain in One-Day Internationals. As of December 2024, Marsh has played in 45 Tests, 93 ODIs, and 65 T20Is.

He plays first-class cricket for Western Australia and the Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League (BBL). In the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Marsh will represent Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) after the franchise acquired him for INR 3.4 crore in the mega auction. As of December 2024, Marsh has had an extensive IPL career, having previously played for Deccan Chargers, Pune Warriors India, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Delhi Capitals.
