Tino Best Biography
Tino Best is a West Indies player, born on August 26, 1981 in Barbados, he is a proficient bowler of the team.
Background
Best topped the regional bowling averages in 2003 and was later included in national squad for test against Australia in May 2003.
Debut
He made his Test debut against Australia at home ground, the Kensington Oval, in May 2003.
Rise to glory
Best played for Barbados in 2002-03 and build up a successful performance by picking up 17 wickets from five matches at an average of 24.29. This led to his inclusion in the national squad.
Low points
He suffered from injuries, and a lack of discipline and ability to control the ball at his speed, which ensured his performances suffered.
He was dropped from the national squad. Irked at this he had joined Indian Cricket League in February 2008.
Club career
Tino has played for Barbados Tridents in Caribbean Premier League 2017,St. Lucia Zouks in Caribbean Premier League 2013, Sylhet Royals in Bangladesh Premier League 2012 and Yorkshire County Cricket Club in 2010.
Retirement
In 2016, much to the shock of everyone, Best announced his retirement along with other cricketers like Fidel Edwards and Krishmar Santokie.
He announced his international retirement and joined Shivnarine Chanderpaul in playing the Masters Champions League (MCL) 2016.
