Jeremy Swayman, also known as “Sway or Bulldog”, is an American professional ice hockey goaltender for the Boston Bruins in the National Hockey League (NHL).
Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Swayman’s first fascination with ice hockey developed during Alaska Anchorage Seawolves men's ice hockey games. He soon took up goaltending and joined the Kenai River Brown Bears. However, he joined the Pikes Peak Miners soon after. The following seasons saw Swayman joining the Sioux Falls in the USHL and later attending the University of Maine. While at Maine, Swayman played a total of 100 games while recording 47 wins. He won the Mike Richter and Walter Brown awards during his last season there.
Since joining the NHL, after getting drafted as the 111th overall pick by the Bruins in the 2017 NHL entry level draft, he has gone on to feature on the NHL All-Rookie Team (2022) and the NHL All-Star game (2024).
