
Roope Hintz is a Finnish professional ice hockey forward for the Dallas Stars, as of February 2025. Known as the "Ace of Spades," Hintz began his hockey career in Finland with the Ilves organization. He briefly played for the Tampa Bay Juniors in the 2012–13 season before returning to Ilves, where he made an impact in the 2014–15 Liiga season with five goals and 12 assists in 42 games.
Hintz was selected 49th overall by the Dallas Stars in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
