Cleveland Browns Depth Chart

Since the departure of Baker Mayfield, the Cleveland Browns have been playing musical chairs at the quarterback position due to the Deshaun Watson project never coming to fruition. While Kevin Stefanski has managed to keep the Browns afloat with all the quarterback changes that have taken place during his head coaching tenure, two-time AP NFL Coach of the Year has not won a playoff game since 2020.
After reaching the playoffs only once in the last 4 years, Kevin Stefanski might be on a hot seat if Cleveland fails to reach the postseason in the upcoming season. The Browns' best route to reach the postseason comes via the wildcard path, as they lack the star power on the offense (to compete for the divisional title) compared to their divisional rivals, the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens.
What is the Cleveland Browns' depth chart for 2025-26?
While the Browns' signal-caller situation would create all the media buzz, Cleveland quietly added good value at the 2025 draft. After moving back in the first round, Browns addressed the need at interior by taking one of the blue chip prospects in defensive tackle Mason Graham to pair him up with a new free agent signee, Maliek Collins. Cleveland’s GM, Andrew Berry, also added two surefire starters in linebacker Carson Schwesinger and running back Quinshon Judkins in the second round. Tight end Harold Fannin Jr.’s addition in the third round of the 2025 NFL draft gives Cleveland a nice 1-2 punch at the tight end position alongside David Njoku.
Cleveland will be the center of attention in the NFL world once the preseason starts. After signing Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett in free agency, Andrew Berry took two quarterbacks in Dillon Gabriel (round 3) and the owner of one of the worst draft slides in NFL history, Shedeur Sanders (round 5) in the 2025 draft. Unless one of those 4 signal callers doesn’t outright win the job in the training camp, expect a fiery competition to take place during the Browns' preseason game. Deshaun Watson, who is predicted to miss a huge chunk of the upcoming season in the wake of an Achilles injury sustained last season, has made the Browns' crowded signal-caller room one to keep an eye on. The victory lap for Cleveland’s fanbase should be that the franchise didn’t fumble with their cornerstone piece, Myles Garrett. Garrett asked for a trade request in the offseason (via NFL’s official website), but the Browns prevented that disaster from further escalating by making him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history, as per reports.
