Super Bowl LIX: Kansas City Chiefs v Philadelphia EaglesSource: Getty Images

The 2025 defending Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, have been on a roll for the past 8 seasons, winning two Lombardi trophies during that period. Since bringing in Nick Sirianni in 2021 and pairing him with Jalen Hurts, Philly has reached two Super Bowls in 4 seasons and came out on top in one. As is the case with any Super Bowl-winning team, the Eagles also lost one of the key pieces on the coaching staff, the offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, who was snagged by the New Orleans Saints to become the franchise’s new head coach.

However, Philadelphia didn’t go out searching for any new OC and promoted from within. Kevin Patullo, who has been in the Eagles' coaching system since 2021 and served as pass game coordinator and associate head coach, will be taking the mantle of being Philly’s next offensive coordinator. This move will provide the offense and quarterback Jalen Hurts familiar voice and continuity.

What is the Philadelphia Eagles' depth chart for 2025-26?

Eagles' roster saw quite a reshuffling during the offseason. While some major pieces like Josh Sweat and Milton Williams headed to Arizona and Foxborough during free agency, Philadelphia also parted ways with Isaiah Rodgers and Darius Slay in the secondary. However, Eagles GM Howie Roseman brought back linebacker Zack Baun. Philly, who also lost their only key piece on the offensive line in Mekhi Becton, will be hoping that either Tyler Steen or Trevor Keegan fills that spot.

On defense, Philly would be hoping that 2025 first-round draft pick Jihaad Campbell, along with progress from in-house players, will be enough to offset Josh Sweat and Milton Williams' losses. While the Eagles didn’t sign anyone to large contracts in FA, they did bring in many players on a 1-year prove-it deal, which includes some prominent names like cornerback Adoree Jackson, linebackers Azeez Ojulari and Josh Uche.
