NFL Week 5 Schedule 2024-25

The NFL Schedule Week 5 brings us the first bye week of the 2024-25 season. Four teams will have added time to recover as bye weeks start from week 5 to week 15 this year with the exception of weeks 8 and 13. Nevertheless, the NFL week 5 schedule will still feature plenty of exciting matchups, with the regular Thursday Night Football (TNF) game between NFC South rivals Tampa Bay Buccaneers taking on the Atlanta Falcons to kick off the week.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Atlanta Falcons

As per the week 5 NFL schedule, the TNF game is a divisional battle between the visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Atlanta Falcons. Barring the Carolina Panthers from the NFC South, all the remaining three teams are in a decent position to win the division as per the teams on paper. Having said that, both teams will want to grab the upper hand early in the season as this divisional matchup may be important further down the season.

Baltimore Ravens @ Cincinnati Bengals

In one of the biggest games of the season, the Baltimore Ravens take on their AFC North rivals, the Cincinnati Bengals. The AFC North has been one of the toughest divisions in the NFL for the past few years and that’s what makes the games in this division very special and important as well.

Should both Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow be healthy for this game, one can expect nothing less than a back-and-forth duel between two top quarterbacks. While the signal callers will be the ones to focus on, both teams have several key players who are capable of turning up on any given day.

Green Bay Packers @ Los Angeles Rams

Another interesting game in week 5 comes as the Green Bay Packers visit SoFi Stadium to take on the Los Angeles Rams. Even though this is not a divisional battle, both these teams were quite similarly matched in the 2023 season and it will be interesting to see how they have progressed from this year’s offseason.

Dallas Cowboys @ Pittsburgh Steelers

Sunday Night Football (SNF) in week 5 of the 2024 NFL season sees two storied franchises face off against one another as the Dallas Cowboys go toe to toe with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Going by recent form and success from the past few seasons, the Cowboys should hold a slight edge in this one, but the Steelers have made some key changes to their roster in the offseason which could spring up a surprise. This game will surely be one to watch.

New Orleans Saints @ Kansas City Chiefs

Week 5 of the 2024-25 NFL season will come to an end with the New Orleans Saints paying a visit to the Kansas City Chiefs in this Monday Night Football encounter. With the Saints most likely battling both the Bucs and the Falcons in the NFC South, this game will be a big one for them should they win.

On the other hand, the Chiefs will be looking at this game as a potential win even though nothing is set in stone once both teams take the field. However, a win here will only make things easier as the season progresses.

Bye Week Teams

As per the week 5 NFL schedule, the Detroit Lions, Tennessee Titans, Philadelphia Eagles, and the Los Angeles Chargers all have a bye in week 5 of the 2024 NFL season.
