About NFL Week 4 Schedule 2024-25

The Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens will headline week 4 of the NFL
The Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens will headline week 4 of the NFL

The NFL schedule week 4 takes us to the end of the month of September and we begin the week with a huge rivalry game from the AFC East as the Dallas Cowboys take on the New York Giants in the Thursday Night Football (TNF) matchup.

Further down the week, we will get to witness some more memorable games as there are plenty of other divisional games in the week. Yet, some of the most exciting games of week 4 are as follows:

Game on Thursday, September 26

Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants

Week 4 gets underway on TNF with the Dallas Cowboys heading over to play the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. As is the annual customary meeting between these two divisional rivals, the Cowboys and Giants have had plenty of exciting games over the years. Having said that, it will be interesting to see how the Giants hold up this season against a strong Cowboys team which is once again expected to make a deep playoff run.

Games on Sunday, September 29

Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans

One of the important divisional battles in week 4 comes from the AFC South between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Houston Texans. This game has a lot riding on it since the Jaguars, who were favored to win the AFC South in the 2023 season, fell apart towards the end of the regular season and the Texans with C.J. Stroud at the helm snatched it from them.

Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars will surely have revenge on their minds, but it will not be easy. The Texans have improved in the offseason with the signing of a true WR1 in Stefon Diggs. They have also added other big names such as Joe Mixon, Danielle Hunter, and more.

Kansas City Chiefs at Los Angeles Chargers

The NFL schedule week 4 brings us an AFC West divisional matchup between the reigning Super Bowl Champions, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers. Normally, this is always an intensely fought rivalry game but the Chiefs have been holding the upper hand in the recent past.

However, a big change in Los Angeles is the signing of a new and proven head coach, Jim Harbaugh. He has previously led the San Francisco 49ers to a Super Bowl game and despite losing, he has still gone on to do amazing things within the football landscape, especially by winning the NCAA CFP National Championship as the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines. Although it is early days, Harbaugh and the Chargers will be up for this game.

Buffalo Bills at Baltimore Ravens

Another big game in week 4 of the 2024 NFL season will be played between the Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens. Both teams have had successful seasons for the past few years, both teams are well coached with experienced head coaches and both teams have their fair share of talented players.

This battle will no doubt feature the quarterbacks as Josh Allen goes up against reigning MVP Lamar Jackson.

Game on Monday, September 30

The NFL week 4 schedule has two Monday Night Football games with the Tennessee Titans taking on the Miami Dolphins in the first game and the second one featuring the Seattle Seahawks and the Detroit Lions.

Tennessee Titans at Miami Dolphins

This matchup between the Titans and the Dolphins could be an entertaining one as both teams have plenty of firepower when it comes to their offense. The Dolphins have a receiving core of Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and Odell Beckham Jr., with a backfield of explosive running backs.

The Titans on the other hand have gone all out in this year’s offseason to sign key players such as Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd to their receiving group which already boasts DeAndre Hopkins. Furthermore, they have added Tony Pollard in the backfield as a replacement for former star running back Derrick Henry.

Seattle Seahawks at Detroit Lions

In the second MNF game in week 4, the Seahawks make the trip to Detroit, and they face off against the Lions. Although both teams are in different divisions, this game could have implications toward the end of the season when tiebreakers come into question for the playoffs. If last season’s performances are to be considered, then this should result in a win for the Lions, but it’s a new season and anything can happen.
